Hunter Education

CLASS INFORMATION: The St. Joseph County Conservation & Sportsman Club offers, at no cost, the latest in MI DNR Hunter Education Training.  The classes are set up as either In-Person, Home Study, or Internet (on-line) classes. Participants must register on-line at the DNR website.  On the required and included Saturday Field Day, participants need to attend the Field Day activities and complete a written test to receive their Hunters Education Certificate once they pass the test. FIELD DAY ONLY: If you have previously taken the on-line class, home study, or in-person class but were not able to get a Field Day completed due to COVID rules, register HERE before the Field Day. Be sure to bring a copy of the class Completion Certificate (or other DNR-approved verification that you have completed the course) to the Field Day. On the Saturday Field Day, participants must attend the Field Day activities and complete a required written test to receive their Hunters Education Certificate once they pass the test.  


LOCATION INFO: The In-Person Class and Field Day is conducted at the St. Joseph County Conservation & Sportsman Club facility. The Club house has ADA compliant/handicap assessable restrooms.
