Youth Activities
The St. Joseph County Conservation & Sportsman Club, INC offers many activities and shooting sports for the youth of our communities and beyond. Activities range from Hunter Education & Safety Classes to the shooting sports of 4-H Shooting Sports, Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP), and Scholastic Action Shooting Program (SASP), as well as associated programs of other conservation and education groups. Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts are welcome to do activities at the Club with Board permission as well. Contact any Board Member to find out how we can help your scouts. Several High Schools also use the Club trap fields for their High School Clay Target Leagues. Check with your school to see if they have this sport, or start a new team! SASP - Rifle & Pistol
The SASP (Scholastic Action Shooting Program offers youth the disciplines of rifle and pistol shooting in a fast paced action game. The team competes within the state and often attends the National Shoot, which has been held in Ohio. Click here to learn more

4-H Shooting Sports
Youth from St. Joseph County can join and learn shooting sports including Archery, BB Gun, Trap & Skeet, Riflery, Muzzle-loading. See links below.

SCTP - Shotgun
The SCTP (Scholastic Clay Target Program offers youth in grades 12 and under, the shotgun disciplines of trap, skeet, and sporting clays. The team competes within the state and often attends the National Shoot, which has been held in Ohio. Click here to learn more.

Hunter Education
Youth learn the necessary skills to earn their Michigan Hunter Ed certificate. The Club holds full classes and Field Days. To find and register for any classes, go to the Michigan DNR website. For more information click here.

High School Clay Target League
Constantine, White Pigeon, and Vicksburg High Schools have Trap Teams that practice and compete on our club's Trap Fields in the MI High School Clay Target League. Some schools even letter in this school sport. Contact your school for more information. click here for more info
